| Even aandachtig naar het werk kijken, laat de toeschouwer genieten van een uitgekiend ijzer- en laswerk. Het is een beetje als een tekening van Da Vinci. De volledige anatomie van de wagen is zichtbaar en alle technische details kloppen. De rest is droomwerk. Daarom was Da Vinci een kunstenaar en geen arts, en daarom is ook The Fox 54 een kunstwerk en geen auto. Toch laat het werk van Borgers toe om de toeschouwer te laten dromen. Het lijkt alsof u ieder moment stijlvol kan vertrekken. | The viewer is allowed to enjoy a sophisticated iron an welding work, while looking closely at the work. It’s a little bit like a Da Vinci drawing. The entire anatomy of the car is visible and all technical details are correct. The rest is imagination. That’s why Da Vinci was an artist and not a doctor, and that’s why The Fox 54 is a work of art and not a car. Yet the work of Borgers allows the viewer to dream. It seems like you’re about to leave in style at any moment. |
